  • Dyed Window Tint

Dyed window tint is known to be the most affordable and economic among the window tints. With the additional dye, it can block light rays and absorb solar heat, keeping it from entering the interior. But this film is mostly used for aesthetic purposes. Since it appears opaque and flat outside, it permits privacy while providing visibility inside. But over time, this dye may fade with time.

  • Metalized Film

Materialized film keeps the heat from the interior by reflecting it away. This is due to the invisible metallic particles in the film. This also prevents the glass shatter-resistant, keeping the glass together in case of accidents. The films being metallic will create a shiny appearance on the outside. It cannot be scratched easily, too. The problem comes with interference in keeping GPS transmission, radio reception, and cell phone signal from entering.

  • Carbon Window Tint Film

This film gives out better results than the first two. It does not have any metal particles which means it does not have any problems with interference. It is dark and has a matte finish providing an excellent appearance on your windows. It is also excellent for blocking heat and keeps away about 40% of infrared light which causes warmth. This will keep your interior cool while keeping your upholstery from fading.

  • Ceramic Film

Most shops will choose this film since it offers the highest quality among all the films and the most expensive too. It does not contain any dye, metal, or carbon particles; instead, it contains nonmetallic and nonconductive ceramic particles. It blocks almost 40% to 50% of infrared light which produces solar heat. This allows maximum visibility either day or night. It resists glare and fading and makes the glass shatter-proof, too.

Ceramic films don’t have any problems with signal interference and blocks about 99% ultraviolet that can cause different skin diseases and sunburns.
